The 3M Silver Depressed Center Grinding Wheel is a type 27 bonded grinding wheel designed to deliver an unbeatable combination of performance and value. This long-lasting wheel uses 3M Precision-Shaped Grain to deliver a fast and consistent cut during grinding and heavy stock removal on stainless steel, mild steel, aerospace alloys and more. This ceramic grain lasts exceptionally long, continuously fracturing into super-sharp points and edges that slice cleanly through metal. 3M Silver Grinding Wheels last significantly longer than grinding wheels made with conventional ceramic grain, while maintaining a high cut-rate through the life of the wheel. These 4-1/2” grinding wheels are suitable for use with either an electric or pneumatic angle grinder, and the built-in quick-change threaded hub makes for easier wheel changes. As part of the 3M Advanced Series of abrasives, 3M Silver Depressed Center Grinding Wheel is engineered to deliver high performance at a budget-friendly price. It easily handles heavy grinding tasks like weld grinding, beveling, slag removal and edge work with either pneumatic or electric tools.
